An international speaker, Mary has spoken to thousands of women across the United States, Latin America, Mexico, New Zealand, India, Thailand, South Africa, and the United Kingdom.
Women identify with Mary, because she has not only survived the road of clinical depression, infertility, adoption, full-time ministry, sexual abuse, childhood trauma, and the daily stress of life, but has learned to thrive in the midst of life’s greatest storms.
Through God’s power, Mary has emerged with joy, strength, and victory. She has also worked “in the trenches” with pastor’s wives and women’s ministry leaders through conferences, retreats, and one-on-one mentoring. In fact, you can check out her Skype Ministry.
Journey Friends is a Skype ministry for women who want one-on-one time with Mary. It is for pastor’s wives, women who want to speak and write but don’t really know how to get started, women’s ministry directors and leaders who need help building a team, and women who simply need direction for their lives.
Mary also writes a Weekly Online Bible Study, Light for the Journey, for women who struggle to have a daily quite time. Mary says, “I know what it is like to fight that daily battle! This Bible Study is something women can do every day. It doesn’t take a lot of time… but it will definitely show you how to study the Bible and apply it in practical ways.
Mary is also the Co-founder of Girlfriends in God, a conference and devotion ministry for women, working with noted author, Sharon Jaynes and award winning composer, musician, author, and worship leader, Gwen Smith to encourage and equip women for their life journey.
Crosswalk.com, the largest Christian website in the world, and Bible Gateway hosts the daily devotions with over 1,000,000 readers. You can check their conference schedule and sign up for their free devotions at www.girlfriendsingod.com.
If you ask Mary who she really is, she will tell you that she finds her greatest joy serving and teaching beside her husband, Dan, who is a Teaching Pastor at Restore Community Church in Parkville, Kansas, Founder of The Movement Group, and the author of Transitioning: Leading Your Church Through Change.
Mary relishes her ministry as a wife, a mother to their two children, Jered and Danna, and Mimi to her six grandchildren, Jaydan, Lelia, Justus, Hudson, Mo, and Nori.
